    ​Asharqia Chamber reviews the experience of the Royal Commission in Jubail in protecting the environment

    As part of the activities of the Environment Committee for the year 2020 AD, on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 AD, the Asharqia Chamber will review the pioneering experience of the Royal Commission in Jubail in protecting the environment, in a remote meeting at 12:30 pm, in which the Director of the Environment Protection and Control Department at the Royal Commission in Jubail, Eng. Simhan Al-Rashidi, and the meeting will be moderated by the Chairman of the Chamber's Environment Committee, Talal bin Sultan Al-Rasheed.

    The meeting will discuss the most important environmental standards that the Royal Commission in Jubail adheres to, starting from the comprehensive environmental survey of the city through the issuance of environmental standards that are followed by the Royal Commission in Jubail, in addition to a full explanation of the comprehensive environmental monitoring program that the Environmental Protection and Control Department carries out for all elements of the environment from air and water. And industrial, environmental, natural waste, and other environmental elements, as well as clarifying the steps or method for issuing environmental licenses for industrial establishments, which must comply with the environmental standards of the Royal Commission after the establishment submits a study to assess the environmental impact of the project.
    It should be noted that the Royal Commission in Jubail has a long history in protecting and preserving the environment, as it has been awarded many awards at the regional and international levels in appreciation of its efforts in the field of environmental protection.​​
